, 626 Vanderbilt Ave., Prospect Heights. Simply said, this place is a lot of fun. And perhaps most importantly for sports fans, it boasts five HD sets at the bar. But beware: The space can get crowded fast.

, 154 Court St., Cobble Hill. Though disappointment will definitely be in the air at this Steelers bar, look for a boisterous crowd on game day—especially during the AFC Championship contest between the hated Pats and Pittsburgh's archrival Ravens.

O'Keefe's Bar and Grill, 64 Court St., Brooklyn Heights. Lined with TVs in a bar filled with mostly locals, O'Keefe's is an old-school Brooklyn favorite for football, hockey and baseball fans. Good bar food, usually not too crowded.

, 71 Lafayette Ave., Fort Greene. A good place to watch games... any games. And for the big-time Giants fan looking to second-guess every penalty, the seven big-screen plasma TVs are a big help. Also serves perhaps the best fish-and-chips in Greene-Hill.

, 200 Fifth Ave., Park Slope. This is the football bar of the Slope. With 70 TVs, great wings and delicious beer you might just want to stay here until the Super Bowl.

, 259 Flatbush Ave., Park Slope. Big plus about Piquant is that it isn't too busy during football. And the proprietors will usually turn one of their two TVs to the game, if you ask nicely.

The Whiskey Brooklyn, 44 Berry St., Williamsburg. Lots of TVs in a very big space. And for football and non-football fans alike, The Whiskey's shuffleboard makes for a great diversion.

, 80 Lafayette Ave., Fort Greene. The bar at Mo's—without the "e"—offers free wings on game days in a recently refurbished and reconfigured space.
