The Minority & Women’s Business Award was created based on The Business
Council’s belief in the continued promotion of economic growth and prosperity for all
and that opportunity should be given to all employers, regardless of race or creed.

"Freeport business and their owners are a fixture throughout the 18th Assembly District known
affectionately as our home. Owners Kenneth Ware and Michael Toney support our
community in a myriad of ways including as leaders, investors, and action figures," Darling said.
