2 Robbed at Gunpoint on Hempstead Turnpike
Two men were robbed early Sunday morning as they drove in West Hempstead, cops said.

Two men were robbed at gunpoint in their car by two men who had cut them off on Hempstead Turnpike Sunday morning, according to Nassau County Police.
At 2:10 a.m., the 19-year-old victims were driving on Hempstead Turnpike in Uniondale when another driver cut them off and began yelling at them, cops said. The other car continued to follow and yell at the victims, who eventually pulled over near Stratford Road in West Hempstead, police said.
The driver of the other car got out, continued to yell and began punching the victim, who had also exited his car, cops said. Meanwhile, a passenger in the other car got out and approached the second victim, who was still inside their car, police said. The subject revealed he had a handgun and demanded their money and property, cops said.

The victims cooperated and handed over two iPhones, credit cards, and cash to the subjects, who fled the scene. They were reportedly driving a silver four-door sedan.
The victim who was assaulted was hospitalized for treatment of wounds to his face. His passenger was not injured.
