Driver Loses Control, Crashes Into Nassau Apartment Building: Police
The driver was hospitalized with minor injuries, police said.
UNIONDALE, NY — A driver crashed into an apartment building on Monday morning in Uniondale, police said.
A 64-year-old female driver was heading westbound on Uniondale Avenue at 11:30 a.m. when she lost control of her vehicle, striking the building at 340 Uniondale Avenue, police said.
The driver was taken to a nearby hospital for minor injuries.

One woman and one man inside the building were not injured, but were brought to a nearby hospital for evaluation. The occupants of four apartment units will be temporarily displaced.
The investigation is ongoing.
