GARDEN CITY, NY — The Village of Garden City is asking residents for input on the future of cultural programs. Surveys were sent to 2,000 randomly selected households.

The list of questions, which is expected to take only five minutes to complete, will guide services and improvements for the next decade, Mayor Mary Carter Flanagan said in an email.

Those not among the first wave of respondents can fill out the online form.

"We all know how important recreation and cultural programs are to our village, and a strong response is essential to collecting the data needed to inform the Recreation Master Plan," Flanagan said.
