Garden City School Budget Passes in Landslide

Voters have decided on the proposed 2015-16 budget.

Garden City residents approved the school district’s $110.16 million proposed 2015-16 budget Tuesday 1,387-303 votes. 

The budget includes a .69 percent increase in spending over the current year and carries a .67 percent tax levy increase.

Incumbents Robert Martin and Tom Pinou were also elected to the Board of Education.
