Happy Father's Day To Michael Coates

In celebration of Father's Day on Sunday June 17, we asked Patch readers to write a letter to their father and let us deliver it. This is Tracy Coates' letter to her dad:

I will be forever grateful for my amazing father-in-law, Michael Coates. He has truly been like a father to me. He welcomed me and my children when my then boyfriend, Brian, introduced us. He accepted us as if we were family since the day we met almost 15 years ago. He is incredibly selfless and always loves and supports our entire family. He is a true family man and an incredible role model for my husband and his brothers.

My children love their “Pops” so much and we are all blessed that they have gotten to grow up and continue to experience their life with the love of a grandfather like him. My father-in-law loves his wife, sons and grandchildren, and also genuinely loves me as a daughter.
