Limited Open Slots Remain For Universal Pre-K In Garden City

GARDEN CITY, NY — A limited number of seats are available universal pre-kindergarten (UPK) students in the Garden City School District.

Children who will turn four years old on or before Dec. 1, 2025, and are eligible to start kindergarten in September 2026 may apply.

It's for the 2025-2026 school year at the Harbor Child Care Roslyn location.

To enroll, children must be residents of Garden City and provide documentation of all required immunizations and an up-to-date physical exam.

The UPK program runs Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. and follows the
Garden City Public School District calendar.
