Man Stabbed At 7-Eleven In Carle Place; Woman In Custody: Police

CARLE PLACE, NY — A man was stabbed on Thursday afternoon at a 7-Eleven in Carle Place, police said.

A 56-year-old was stabbed in the arm and back at the store on Old Country Road, police said.

Courtney Tolbert, 37, was placed under arrest at scene without incident, authorities said.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition. A knife was recovered at scene, police said.

Tolbert is charged with second-degree assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, police said.

She was expected to be arraigned on Friday.
