Super Team Daily Takes Third in Overall Relay for Tobay Triathlon

Tommy, John and Ned Daily of Garden City Park recently took their talents to Oyster Bay for the Runner’s Edge TOBAY Triathlon and Tri-Relay presented by Engel Burman where they placed third in the overall relay team category.

On an overcast morning with periods of rain, more than 350 competitors tested their strength and endurance on the Long Island course which was managed by the Greater Long Island Road Running Club. The competition included a ½ mile swim in Oyster Bay Harbor, a 12.3K hilly bike ride through Oyster Bay and Oyster Bay Cove, and a 5K run past Mill Neck and Brookville.

Tommy Daily, 27, John Daily, 22, and Ned Daily, 63, completed the triathlon in 1:03:47, earning a trophy in the overall relay team division, which consisted of 19 total teams. Full results from the triathlon can be viewed here.
