Youth Soccer On LI Gets Big Boost With MLS GO

The program will debut this fall in Uniondale and Brentwood.

UNIONDALE, NY — Major League Soccer is expanding its youth soccer program to Long Island.

MLS GO begins play this fall at two locations: Globall Sports Center at Mitchel Athletic Complex in Uniondale and Suffolk County Community College in Brentwood.

MLS GO introduces more boys and girls (ages 4-14) to soccer, where they can learn fundamental skills from licensed, professional coaches. It also provided character-building with an emphasis on sportsmanship and teamwork.

All participants receive MLS club-branded uniforms.

"Being chosen as Nassau County’s first facility for MLS GO is exciting and a privilege. We’re eager to see our existing community’s youth program benefit from the expertise of MLS GO," Sarah Abramovitz, Facility Director at Globall Sports Center, said.
