The USA Patriots Amputee Softball Team will play against Glen Cove's first responders at John Maccarone Memorial Stadium on Sunday.
GLEN COVE, NY — Glen Cove City officials will play host to a wounded warrior amputee softball game — the first ever in Nassau County on Sunday.
The USA Patriots Amputee Softball Team will play against Glen Cove first responders at John Maccarone Memorial Stadium at 11 a.m.
Many of the USA Patriots' players are veterans who travel from many states to participate in games.

Glen Cove City officials described the game as "a wonderful family event and great for us all to see those who, although they are missing limbs and wear prosthetic devices, are not disabled in any way."
