ON THE ROAD...

NASSAU COUNTY

Roadwork on NY 109 both directions between Fulton Street and Broadhollow Road, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed

Construction on NY 25 in both directions between Powells Lane and Hitchcock Lane (North Hempstead) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed

Construction on Southern State Parkway both directions between Exit 18 and Exit 17S from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed

SUFFOLK COUNTY

As of 7:29 a.m., all westbound lanes between Orville Drive and Arctic Avenue are closed on NY 454 due to a motorcycle crash

ON THE LIRR...

As of 8:55 a.m., trains are running on or close to schedule on all LIRR branches, except the West Hempstead line. Starting at 9:30 a.m., buses will replace trains between Valley Stream and West Hempstead.

Per the LIRR: "From 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. today buses will replace train service between Valley Stream and West Hempstead while PSEGLI replaces a downed pole along the tracks near Westwood."
