Cops: Bronze Statue Stolen from Glen Cove Property
The sculpture is made entirely of bronze, and worth more than $25,000, police say.

A bronze statue of a woman has been stolen from a Glen Cove property, authorities said.
Glen Cove Police believe the statue, worth more than $25,000, was stolen on or about Jan. 29. from a rear property on Dosoris Lane.
The statue was approximately four-and-a-half feet tall, and made entirely of bronze, police said.

Det. Lt. John Nagle said Glen Cove Police are actively running down any possible leads and have not ruled out that the statue was stolen solely for its bronze content.
