Cops Seek Public's Help in Solving Mineola Murder
Oscar Alfredo Ventura Granados was shot in his driveway Sunday night, police say.

Nassau Police seek the public’s help in identifying and locating the man they say shot and killed Oscar Alfredo Ventura Granados in his Mineola driveway Sunday night.
On Sunday, at approximately 9:36 p.m., Granados, also known as “Mineola” and “Alfredo,” was walking on Roslyn Road in Mineola when he was accosted by an unknown man, and fatally shot, police say. The man fled the scene in an unknown direction, according to police.
