Panzenbeck Wins Glen Cove Mayor Race In Unofficial Results

GLEN COVE, NY — Republican incumbent Mayor Pamela Panzenbeck was reelected in her race against Democratic challenger, George Maragos, according to unofficial results from the Nassau County Board of Elections.

Panzenbeck was leading Maragos 3,487 or 63 percent to 2,063 votes or 37 percent with all precincts counting, unofficial results show.

In the city council races, the board appears to be split between Republicans and Democrats.

Incumbent Respublican councilmen Kevin Maccarone and Grady Farnan, as well as newcomer, Michael Ktistakis, were elected. Democrats Marsha Silverman and Danielle Fugazy Scagliola were reelected to their posts.

Incumbent Republicans Jack Mancusi and Barbara Peebles lost their seats.
