Excellence Award for 'Men in Black' in Glen Cove
The robotics team received the award at the Vex Robotics Competition.

Glen Cove students from Robert M. Finley Middle School’s “Men in Black” robotics team received the Excellence Award at the Vex Robotics Competition held at Schreiber High School in Port Washington on Dec. 13.
The highest honor awarded in the tournament, the Excellence Award is given to a team that exemplifies excellence in having a well rounded VEX Robotics Program. This designation automatically qualifies Glen Cove’s Robotic Team to compete at the New York State Championship as well as the National Championship, which will be held in Iowa in April of 2015.

The Men In Black will host their first Vex Robotics Competition at Finley Middle School on Saturday, Jan. 10 from 9:30 a.m. to 430 p.m.
