Feast Of St. Rocco Returns To Glen Cove Through July 31

The "Best Feast In The East" returns with live music and entertainment, carnival rides, games for kids, and lots of Italian food.

GLEN COVE, NY — The Feast of St. Rocco — a multi-day celebration of Italian heritage and the patron saint of the sick — kicks off this weekend in Glen Cove.

The "Best Feast In The East," as it's dubbed, is hosted by the Church of St. Rocco. It runs through Sunday and includes carnival rides, live music and entertainment, raffle prizes, and a wide variety of food.

Each year, thousands of people travel to the area to feast on sausage and pepper sandwiches, homemade pasta, meatballs, tripe, and other delicacies. And if you still have an appetite, look for the Italian pastries and homemade ice cream.
