Finley's O'Regan Selected for String Festival
Glen Cove seventh grader will play double bass at Feb. 28 performance.
Robert M. Finley Middle School seventh grader Owen O’Regan was selected to participate in this year’s Long Island String Festival for his prowess on the double bass.
O’Regan was chosen as one of the top middle school string players from across Long Island for his outstanding performance at last year’s NYSSMA festival and participation in the Finley Middle School String Orchestra. He will perform in a concert with the LISFA orchestra on Feb. 28 at Uniondale High School.
