Free 'Cinema In The Streets' In Glen Cove
Family-friendly movies will be shown on Saturday nights during the summer.
Glen Cove residents are welcome to enjoy cinema in the streets for free while the local AMC undergoes renovations.
The “Cinema in the Streets” program will be held on Saturday nights throughout the summer at 8:30 p.m. on School Street.
The movie schedule will be as follows:

- July 22 - “Beauty and the Beast” (2017)
- July 29 - “Back to the Future”
- August 5 - “The Secret Life of Pets”
- August 12 - “ET”
- August 19 – “Grease”
Complimentary popcorn will also be available. “It has been wonderful to see so many people coming downtown to watch our wide variety of movies so don’t forget to bring your chairs and think about dining at one of our many restaurants in downtown Glen Cove before show time,” Mayor Reggie Spinello said in a press release.
This program was created by Spinello while AMC undergoes renovations. The movie theatre will soon offer luxury reclining seats, a new concession area and more.
