Garvies Point Museum Celebrates 50 Years With Special Exhibit
The exhibit open Saturday.

The Garvies Point Museum will kick off their 50th anniversary on Saturday.
In honor of "50 years of excellence," a special exhibit, "Seashells....Nature's Inspired Design," opens Saturday.
The exhibit will feature seashells from around the world, donated by Alfred Wu and Henry Dwyer. The exhibit will show through December 30.

The special exhibit is included with museum general admission. The cost is $4 for adults and $2 for children between ages 5 and 12. Admission is free for current Friends of Garvies Point Museum members.
Additionally, an 18-foot Long Island wildlife mural will be unveiled at the museum on Saturday.
