Girl Scouts of Nassau County Announces Glen Cove Resident to Serve on Board of Directors
Amanda Ieraci Will Serve as Member-at-Large on Girl Scouts of Nassau County's Board of Directors

Girl Scouts of Nassau County announced that Glen Cove resident Amanda Ieraci has been elected to serve on Girl Scouts of Nassau County’s Board of Directors through 2027. Amanda Ieraci was officially sworn in during the organization’s 60th Annual Meeting, held at Nassau Community College in Garden City. The Board of Directors is comprised of lifelong Girl Scouts, community leaders, and nonprofit and corporative executives who provide leadership, innovation and support to the Council and guide the organization’s vision and mission.
“Our Board of Directors is made up of passionate leaders who believe in the power of Girl Scouting to inspire and uplift the next generation,” said Randell Bynum, Chief Executive Officer of Girl Scouts of Nassau County. “I am eager to see this group of leaders inspire and shape the Girl Scout experience in their terms. I am confident they will help to fulfill our mission to build girls of courage, confidence and character.”
Board members work together to provide strategic leadership and foster opportunities that help girls throughout Nassau County develop courage, confidence, and character. They also play a vital role in supporting fundraising efforts that expand access to Girl Scout programs that empower girls socially, academically, and emotionally.

Amanda Ieraci currently serves as Manager of Operations at Northwell Health’s Glen Cove, Plainview, and Syosset Hospitals. In this role, she collaborates across all three locations to implement strategic and innovative projects to ensure operational excellence. Amanda graduated as a Presidential Scholar from The George Washington University School of Business, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics and Public Policy with a minor in Public Health. Amanda is a lifetime member and active adult volunteer with Girl Scouts of Nassau County, where she leads the Ceremonial Unit and has served twice as an alternate delegate for GSNC at GSUSA’s National Council Session. Additionally, she supports community organizations like Charlie’s Place, a nonprofit dedicated to aiding people experiencing homelessness and food insecurity. Amanda is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in healthcare operations and continues to find ways to serve and uplift her community
