GLEN COVE, NY — Hundreds marched peacefully in Glen Cove and Sea Cliff over the weekend to protest police brutality amid nationwide outrage over the killing of George Floyd, who died after a Minneapolis police officer held his knee on Floyd's neck for nearly nine minutes as he lay handcuffed on pavement.

Holding signs in support of the Black Lives Matter movement, marchers chanted "I can't breathe!" and "no justice, no peace!" The march began around 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
