Outside of art, she is an enthusiastic cheerleader and eagerly participates in the Club’s dance program, showing her spirit, dedication, and love for movement. Kaylee also looks forward to her future with big dreams. Inspired by her desire to help others and make a positive difference in people’s lives she hopes to become a doctor. Kaylee’s curiosity, positive attitude, and love for the Club make her a truly outstanding Junior Youth of the Month.
Senior Youth of the Month, Danna R.R. 13, a dedicated and spirited eighth grader, brings curiosity, kindness, and leadership to the Clubhouse each day. She has a passion for science and a love for reading, especially The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton. A Club member since the second grade, Danna enjoys spending time with friends, getting homework help, and taking part in leadership opportunities. As president of the Torch Club, a small-group leadership and service program for youth ages 10–13, she leads with enthusiasm and inspires her peers to make a positive difference. One of her favorite ways to give back is reading to younger Club members, where her love of books truly comes to life. Known among staff for her consistent, focused, and upbeat presence, Danna embodies what it means to be a role model at the Club. When asked about her Boys & Girls Club experience, she shared, “Being at the Club is about growing and changing. I feel like I can really be myself here without anyone judging me. The staff taught me to respect myself and other people, and that’s something I want to keep doing every day.” Outside of the Club, Danna enjoys running track and hanging out with friends. Looking ahead, she hopes to become a doctor so she can help others and make a meaningful impact in her community.
