GLEN COVE, NY — Artists from Glen Cove High School shared their talents to brighten up a part of downtown Glen Cove City. The students, members of the school's Art Club, worked with the Glen Cove Downtown Business Improvement District (BID) to give the downtown police booth a holiday look.

The BID also donated new materials to the club. The students who painted and decorated the police booth are soon-to-be-members of the National Art Honor Society, the district said.

“Thanks to the efforts of Glen Cove High School’s Art Club members, the downtown police booth—a staple of the community—is beaming with holiday joy for all to see,” Glen Cove Superintendent Maria Rianna said.
