Glen Cove Residents Help Puerto Rico Hurricane Victims
The donated items filled up cars, trucks and even a flatbed

Several hundred Glen Cove residents came out Saturday to donate supplies for those affected by the devastation of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.
The donated items filled up cars, trucks and even a flatbed. Residents came bearing boxes, grocery bags and cases upon cases of water to help Puerto Rico.
“The people of Glen Cove have huge hearts,”Glen Cove Mayor Reggie Spinello said in a press release. “To see children, teachers, parents, grandparents and City Council members all working together to collect, sort and pack the donated supplies underscored how the hurricane in Puerto Rico impacted so many in our community.”
