Glen Cove School Board Recognizes AP Scholars
Students honored for their academic accomplishments.

The Glen Cove Board of Education recognized the district’s 2014 Advanced Placement Scholars at its Jan. 12 meeting at Glen Cove High School.
Honorees included current students as well as Class of 2014 graduates, who were invited to the meeting to be commended by the board. In all, the district celebrated the academic accomplishments of 40 students.

During the meeting, board members were also provided with information on the district’s child nutrition program through a presentation given by Kim Coopersmith of Food Services. Assistant Superintendent for Business Victoria Galante also shared preliminary details of the 2015-16 budget with those in attendance.
