Nassau Teen Found Slain On Walking Trail In Maryland: Police
The girl was found dead near the edge of a stream at the bottom of a slope. Police are investigating her death as a homicide.

GLEN COVE, NY — A Glen Cove teenager has been identified as the girl found slain along a walking trail in Maryland last month, police said.
A passerby found the girl dead along the wooded Merrymans Trail near Loch Raven Reservoir in Cockeysville on Friday, May 29, Baltimore County police said. Her body was near the edge of a stream at the bottom of a slope.
On Monday, authorities identified her as 16-year-old Gabriella Alejandra Gonzales Ardon.

Gabriella was identified by family after they reported her missing and learned of the department's social media posts revealing tattoos on her arms. One showed an alien on her left forearm, the letters "J.G." on her left wrist, a broken heart with a pair of parallel lines running through it, and "XXVIII.III.MCMLVIII" on her right forearm.
Her death was ruled a homicide by the chief medical examiner's office, the Baltimore Sun reported.

According to Nassau County police, Gabriella went missing in July 2019, then again in late February and a third time in March.
On March 26, police said Gabriella could be headed to Baltimore which is about 13 miles south of Cockeysville.
