Glen Cove's St. Patrick's Day Set for March 22

Glen Cove is gearing up for the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which will be held this year on March 22.

The Ancient Order of Hibernians, Glen Cove Division 8, held its annual St. Patrick’s Day Dance at St. Patrick’s Parish Hall on Saturday, March 7, in anticipation of the parade.

The Very Reverend Dom Elias Carr is this year’s Grand Marshal. Robert Ottaviano and Laurieann DeFilippo have been named “Aides to the Marshal” and will be on hand as the parade steps off at 1 p.m. on Sunday March 22.

The parade will begin at Robert M. Finley Middle School and end back at St. Patrick’s Church.

“The St. Patrick’s Day Parade is one of Glen Cove’s finest traditions. I hope everyone will come out and cheer for our marchers. It’s always a fun day,” Mayor Spinello said.
