Glen Head Home, Vehicles Damaged In Blaze
The house sustained "substantial damage," police say. No one was home at the time of the fire, the department said.
GLEN HEAD, NY — A Glen Head home sustained "substantial damage" in a fire early Sunday, Nassau police said.
Officers responded to a fire at a home on High Farms Road around 2:15 a.m. The Glenwood Fire Department extinguished the fire with the help of multiple nearby fire departments.
Three vehicles in the driveway also were badly damaged, police said.

The house was unoccupied at the time of the fire, police said. The Nassau County Fire Marshal and Arson Bomb Squad responded to the scene.
