ROSLYN, NY — A "ninja warrior" style gym with fitness classes for adults and kids opened Sunday in Roslyn. The Grit Ninja, at 55 Lumber Rd., is the fourth location from the company and the first on Long Island.

There are after school classes, open plays, and birthday party options for kids two-and-a-half years old and up, according to The Grit Ninja's social media and website.

The obstacle courses change weekly, and some are inspired by the NBC show "American Ninja Warrior."
