ALBANY, NEW YORK – New York State Assemblymember Charles Lavine (D-North Shore) issued the following statement following the deadly attack on two members of the Israeli Embassy:
“I am outraged by the blatantly antisemitic murder of two staff members from the Israeli Embassy in Washington, D.C. This hate-fueled attack which ended the lives of two human beings who were on the cusp of beginning their long life together, is also an attack on Israel and the Jewish people that is repugnant to American values.”
Lavine serves as President of the New York Chapter of the National Association of Jewish Legislators and a member of its National Board of Directors.
