Long Island Modeling Photographer Busted For 'Inappropriately Touching' Child: Police
He touched the 10-year-old girl while taking measurements at his home studio, Nassau police said.

GLEN COVE, NY — A Glen Cove modeling photographer for children was arrested Wednesday after investigators found he inappropriately touched a 10-year-old girl in a photo shoot at his home, Nassau police said.
Jim Masiakos, 58, was working from his home as a modeling photographer for children on Aug. 22 when he inappropriately touched the girl while taking measurements, according to police.
The child, who lives in Montana, told her family about the incident upon her return home, and her father then reported it to their local police department, police said.

An investigation was then initiated by the Nassau's Special Victims Squad, and Masiakos was placed under arrest "without incident," according to police.
He was arraigned on Wednesday at First District Court in Hempstead on a charge of first-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.

His attorney's information was not immediately available.
