MLK Day Celebration
Monday, MLK March steps off at 9:00 a.m. from the First Baptist Church and proceeds to the Middle School Wunsch Arts Center. Program will then start at 10:00 a.m.

Great Amusement Parks of Long Island
Wednesday, 2 p.m. at Glen Cove Library. Local historian and author of Images of America: Nunley’s Amusement Park, Marisa L. Berman, shares stories and images of Long Island’s amusement parks and brings pieces of lost history back for Long Islanders to enjoy. Learn about this park, which was in operation for over 50 years, and others that have a special place in the memories of multiple generations of Long Islanders. This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Glen Cove Library.
