Lions Club Donation To Benefit Glen Cove Senior Community

A recent donation by the Sea Cliff-Glen Head Lions Club will go towards helping the Glen Cove senior community.

Jean-Marie Stalzer and Liz Luciano, co-honorees of the recent Sea Cliff-Glen Head Lions Club Golf Outing, selected the Glen Cove SAGE Foundation to receive the $3,000 donation.

“We can’t thank Jean-Marie, Liz and the Lions Club members enough for selecting SAGE as the recipient of this donation which will be dedicated to providing outstanding programs for our area’s senior community,” Glen Cove Mayor Tim Tenke said in a press release.

The Glen Cove SAGE Foundation helps the Senior Center in providing the highest quality of programs and services for the senior citizens of Glen Cove and surrounding communities. SAGE shows support through fundraising, grant writing, outreach and advocacy.

“This remarkable donation is a true reflection of Jean-Marie and Liz’s love of their community and we are so grateful that they hold our seniors so close to their hearts – thank you!” said Lee DelValle, president of the Glen Cove SAGE Foundation.
