ON THE ROAD...

NASSAU COUNTY

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., construction on the Southern State Parkway will shut down one lane in both directions between Exit 18 - Eagle Avenue and Exit 17S - Hempstead Avenue

Construction on NY 25 in both directions between Powells Lane and Hitchcock Lane (North Hempstead) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed

SUFFOLK COUNTY

As of 7:20 a.m., a crash on eastbound NY 27 is blocking the left lane at Exit 57 - Horse Block Road

Between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., construction on NY 109 will shut down one lane in both directions between Murray Street and NY 27 (Babylon)

Construction on NY 27 will close one lane in both directions at Exit 39 - Hubbards Lane, from 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., construction on eastbound I-495 will shut down one lane between Exit 62 - Nicolls Road (Brookhaven) and Exit 64 - Patchogue-Port Jefferson Road

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., construction will close one lane along westbound I-495 between Exit 64 - Patchogue-Port Jefferson Road and Exit 48 - Round Swamp Road

ON THE LIRR...

As of 9:01 a.m., trains are running on or close to schedule on all LIRR branches, except the Oyster Bay line.

Per the LIRR: "The 7:41 a.m. train from Oyster Bay due Hunterspoint Avenue at 8:55 a.m. is canceled due to equipment trouble. Customers take the 8:14 a.m. train from Oyster Bay due Long Island City at 9:37 a.m."
