Long Island Motorcyclist, 55, Struck By Car Dies: Police
He had been in critical condition since the Sept. 19 crash, Nassau police say.
GLEN COVE, NY — The 55-year-old man, who was struck by a car while riding a motorcycle in Glen Cove almost two weeks ago, has died, Nassau police said Monday.
Homicide Squad detectives said Diofanto Reyna-Perez of Glen Cove succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased by hospital staff, according to police.
On Sept. 19 at around 12:30 p.m., a 2001 Mercedes Benz ML 320 driven by a 64-year-old woman was traveling westbound on Brewster Street and making a left turn, when it collided with a 2018 Honda motorcycle ridden by Reyna-Perez, who was traveling eastbound on Brewster Street near Mill Hill Road, police said.

Reyna-Perez suffered severe head and facial injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital where he is currently in critical condition, according to police.
The woman remained on scene, police said.
