Man Rescued After Boat Drifts in Sound Overnight
The boat's operator was evaluated for exposure Friday but was uninjured.
A Long Island man was rescued Friday afternoon after the disabled boat he had been in was located and towed to Brewer Yacht Yard in Glen Cove shortly after 12 p.m.Â
The boat had run out of gas on the water during the night and a Nassau County Police patrol boat towed the vessel in.
An ambulance was at the scene to evaluate the man for exposure, but police said he was not injured.
