Man With Severe Burns Found In Glen Cove; Police Investigating

Authorities are investigating the circumstances around a man who was found in a wooded area with severe burns on his body on Tuesday night in Glen Cove.

According to Glen Cove Police, officers responded to an aided case in the wooded area at the west side of the Glen Street Railroad Station, near the parking lot, to find a man who sustained serious burns to his lower legs at 5:58 p.m.

The man was airlifted to Nassau Medical Center to be treated for his injuries.
