Motorcyclist Dies In Nassau Crash Friday: Police

OLD BROOKVILLE, NY — A motorcyclist died after an Old Brookville crash Friday afternoon, police said.

According to Nassau County police, the crash took place at 3 p.m. A man,35, was driving a 2002 Suzuki motorcycle westbound when he was involved in a collision with a 65-year-old man, operating a 2022 GMC pick-up truck and traveling eastbound on Northern Boulevard in the vicinity of Hickory Road, police said.

The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene by a Nassau County Police medic; the male driver of the GMC was transported to a local area hospital and is listed in stable condition, police said.

The investigation is ongoing.
