ICYMI: Neighbors Save Woman Who Drove Into Pool

A report says a 73-year-old woman crashed through a fence and into a backyard pool.

GLEN COVE, NY — Two good Samaritans are being credited with saving a woman who drove into a pool in Glen Cove, according to a News 12 report. The driver, 73, crashed through a fence on Rellim Drive and into a pool in the backyard.

News 12 reported a neighbor, Manny Grella, was driving by as he heard the woman yelling. He and another neighbor went to help out.

"Within a minute, the car totally submerged underwater," Grella told News 12.

The woman was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, the report says.
