North Shore Kiwanis' 5th Annual Dog Show Returns This Weekend
Bring your pup out to North Shore Kiwanis' Dog Show this Sunday for a chance to win prizes — and give back to the community.

GLEN COVE, NY — It's a dog's life: North Shore Kiwanis is hosting their 5th Annual Dog Show this Sunday at the Garvies Point Dog Park at 1 p.m.
Proceeds will support the work of the Kiwanis Club of North Shore Foundation, which is a 501(c)3 charitable organization. The event will benefit the Koats 4 Kids and Kicks 4 Kids programs for children in need, organizers said.
There will be opportunities for photos with pups, and prizes, too. Attendees can show off their best matching outfits, tricks, and fanciest four-legged friend.

Founder and chair of the event Leslie Kle said the event was born during COVID — when she felt like the community needed something to lift spirits.
"It is a very light event, filled with fun and laughter," she said. "Our MC, John Canning, always makes it a great time."
