Northern Boulevard Closed For Hours Tomorrow
Services for EMS Lt. Alison Russo-Elling are closing a two-mile stretch of the road. Drivers should use an alternate route.

OLD WESTBURY, NY — A two-mile stretch of Northern Boulevard will be closed for hours tomorrow for a celebration of the life of EMS Lt. Alison Russo-Elling.
Northern Boulevard will be closed from Glen Cove Road on the west to Route 107 on the east. Nassau County police say there will also be significant delays on both Glen Cove Road and Route 107 near Northern Boulevard.

The road will be closed from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. for the celebration at the Tilles Center.
Russo-Elling, from Huntington Station, was stabbed to death in Astoria last week.
