NASSAU COUNTY

As of 8:33 a.m., a crash on Wantagh State Parkway is blocking the right shoulder between northbound START ROUTE Wantagh State Parkway at Ocean Parkway (Hempstead) and Exit W6

As of 8:22 a.m., a disabled vehicle is blocking the northbound center lane on the Meadowbrook State Parkway between Exit M6E and Exit M5

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., construction on the Southern State Parkway will shut down one lane of traffic in both directions between Exit 18 and Exit 17N

As of 9:02 a.m., trains are running on or close to schedule on all LIRR branches, except the Port Jefferson line.

Per the LIRR: "The 7:35 a.m. train from Port Jefferson due Penn Station at 9:25 a.m. is operating 10 minutes late due to a late eastbound train in single-track territory."
