Overnight LIE Work This Week Will Close Lanes From Exits 37 To 39: DOT

NASSAU COUNTY, NY — This week, overnight highway work will close several lane on the Long Island Expressway (LIE) in Nassau County, the New York State Department of Transportation advised.

On Wednesday, Dec. 7, the westbound lanes on the LIE between Glen Cove Rd. (Exit 39) and Northern State Pkwy. (Exit 38) will be closed between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m. Traffic will be detoured onto the North Service Rd.

Also on Wednesday, Dec. 7, the eastbound LIE HOV and left lanes will be closed at Exit 38 from 1 a.m. until 5 a.m.

On Thursday, Dec. 8, the eastbound LIE right and center lanes will shutter at Willis Ave. (Exit 37) between 10 p.m. until 5 a.m.
