ON THE ROAD...
NASSAU COUNTY
As of 7:45 a.m., a crash on the Southern State Parkway is blocking the left shoulder between westbound Exit 18 - Eagle Avenue and Exit 17S - Hempstead Avenue

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., construction on the Southern State Parkway will shut down one lane in both directions between Exit 18 - Eagle Avenue and Exit 17S - Hempstead Avenue

Construction on I-495 will close one lane in both directions in the area of Exit 38 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
SUFFOLK COUNTY

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., construction on the Southern State Parkway will shut down one lane in both directions between Heckscher State Parkway END ROUTE (Islip) and Exit 40 - Robert Moses Causeway

Construction on NY 112 will close one lane in both directions between I-495 South Service Road (Brookhaven) and NY 27 Southern Service Road (Brookhaven), from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m., construction on eastbound NY 347 will shut down one lane between CR 76 (Smithtown) and Gibbs Pond Road (Smithtown)

Construction on eastbound NY 25A will shut down one lane between Mount Sinai Coram Road (Brookhaven) and Ridge Road (Brookhaven), between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Construction on NY 454 in both directions between Ocean Avenue and Johnson Avenue (Islip) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., one lane closed
ON THE LIRR...
As of 8:35 a.m., trains are running on or close to schedule on all LIRR branches, except the Montauk and Ronkonkoma lines.
Per the LIRR: "The 5:39 a.m. train from Montauk due Long Island City at 8:44 a.m. is 36 minutes late through Hampton Bays due to a disabled E/B train in single-track territory."
The 7:30 a.m. train from Ronkonkoma, due in Greenport at 8:54 a.m., is operating 13 minutes late out of Ronkonkoma due to a late-arriving connection.
