Salvador Dali Exhibit Extended At LI Holocaust Museum
Dali's "Aliyah: The Rebirth of Israel" runs through Aug. 29.

GLEN COVE, NY — The Salvador Dali Exhibit has been extended at the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center.
"Aliyah: The Rebirth of Israel" runs until Aug. 29.
It features a suite of 25 lithographs commemorating the 20th anniversary of the founding of the State of Israel.

"They asked him to do this fantastic series, and he went to town," Curator Charles Riley told Patch in February. "They haven't been shown together like this since that time in the New York area."
Dalà created the "Aliyah" series of mixed media paintings in 1968 using gouache, watercolors, and Indian ink on paper. Guided tours are available.
