Santos Arraignment Next Week For New Superseding Indictment: US Atty.
The disgraced former congressman will not have charges added to his 23-count indictment, the U.S. Attorney's office said.

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY — Former congressman George Santos will be arraigned on a second superseding indictment on Wednesday, June 12, prosecutors announced.
A spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney of the Eastern District said Santos will not face any additional charges. The disgraced one-time representative awaits trial for 23 counts that include conspiracy to commit offenses against the United States and wire fraud.
As U.S. Attorney Breon Peace told the judge last month in a filing, the latest superseding indictment is to correct Schrivener's errors and make other minor changes ahead of the expected trial on Sept. 9.
