Sea Cliff Man Leaves Empty-Handed After Trying To Rob LI Bank: Police
In addition to the attempted robbery, Anthony Trentacosta was charged in two unrelated domestic incident cases from June 19 and July 8.
SEA CLIFF, NY — A Sea Cliff man was arrested last week in connection to a bank robbery on Long Island, according to Nassau County police.
The robbery took place at a Bank of America in Wantagh Wednesday morning.
Authorities say 30-year-old Anthony J. Trentacosta entered the bank at 3330 Park Ave. and handed a female teller a note demanding money. When the employee did not comply, Trentacosta fled the bank through the rear doors, empty-handed.

He was placed under arrest at his home two days later, authorities said. In addition to the attempted robbery, Trentacosta was charged in two unrelated domestic incident cases from June 19 and July 8.
Trentacosta has been charged with third-degree attempted robbery, fourth-degree criminal mischief, and criminal obstruction of breathing, according to police.
