Suozzi Among 3rd Night Speakers At DNC

The congressman from Glen Cove is expected to focus his remarks Wednesday evening on border security and immigration.

CHICAGO, IL — Congressman Tom Suozzi (D-NY 3) will speak in during the third night of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

A spokesperson for Suozzi says his remarks will focus on immigration and border security, which he made priorities for the special election race in February.

Wednesday night's theme "A Fight for Our Freedoms" also features Vice Presidential nominee and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, former president Bill Clinton and House Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.

This evening, Congressman Tom Suozzi will deliver a prime time address to the 25,000 delegates, volunteers, and supporters at the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago. Suozzi will deliver a speech focused on immigration and border security, issues he leaned into during his special election in February, and ones he continues to lead on as a Member of Congress.

Wednesday night’s theme, “A Fight For Our Freedoms,” will also feature Vice Presidential nominee and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, Former President Bill Clinton, House Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi, and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.
